There is an increasing awareness amongst Abu Dhabi residents of the need to protect our environment.

My Move wishes to advocate – Re-use, Reduce & Recycle 

Re-use

  • Buy recycled products where possible, note paper, toilet paper etc.

Reduce

  • Invest in a reusable shopping bag, available Spinneys, Magrudys.
  • Avoid printing unnecessarily.
  • Car washes in Abu Dhabi now offer waterless washes.
  • Car Pool on school/ work journeys. See RTA initiative at www.rta.ae
  • Send the kids to school on the school bus.
  • Car emissions checked annually.
  • Build your own compost heap- cut grass and hedge cuttings, save on usage of artificial fertilisers.
  • Promote the internet rather than printed flyers, classifieds and magazines!

Recycle 

  • Use one of the many collection points throughout Abu Dhabi located at shopping malls, schools recreational centres, familiarise yourself with one nearest your home.
  • Use the recycle collection service which they provide at their properties.
