With or without a swimming pool is an initial choice you have to make when moving to Abu Dhabi, remembering pools are an enormous source of relaxation and pleasure especially for kids, but also come with a maintenance bill ! ! Be aware of the grave associated dangers especially with young kids around - for greater peace of mind it is worth considering fencing off the pool before you move. It is highly recommended to enroll children in a swim programme at the earliest opportunity. Living in the Gulf, they have to learn to swim as early as possible.
It is advisable to engage the services of a pest control company. It is after all a desert land and home to lots of ‘nasties’, both inside and outside, therefore quarterly treatment of your property with a broad spectrum insecticide is recommended.
