  • Organize your documentation to obtain a UAE Driving Licence. You will require.
  • Your existing licence.
  • Passport with residency stamp.
  • Eye test certificate, (available from any optician, this can also be obtained at licensing dept. however it may incur further delays).
  • Application fee.
  • No objection letter from your employer.
  • If involved in even a minor road accident in Abu Dhabi stay with your car and call the police, a police report is needed to have even minor damage repaired.
  • As driving can be erratic, consider a second hand car as your first purchase.
