There are such a variety of treatments from the traditional Arabic Rasul & Turkish Hammam to Balinese and more holistic treatments.

Beauty salons are very popular with a variety of services from manicures and pedicures, waxing, henna and hair treatments. These are strictly ladies only. Many are conveniently located in shopping malls, hotels and in the newer residential areas.  

Several of the bigger hotels will house a hair salon in the lobby. Mobile hairdressers are always an option.

Finding the right hair dresser can be daunting especially for us ‘lady folk’. Ask around, a personal recommendation is always best when it comes to hair.

Several Wellness and Health clinics are available in Abu Dhabi both to increase our awareness and to promote healthy lifestyles.

Alternate medicine facilities are also present both in stand alone practice and to complement traditional medicine. Practitioners in this area are governed by the UAE Office of Complementary & Alternative Medicine, which in turn is governed by the Ministry of Health.
