Traditionally the UAE has attracted a young active population and so sport has evolved and developed down through the years. Due in no small part to Abu Dhabi’s strong economic status, it boasts state of the art facilities in each area imaginable. Each year more and more money is being invested locally to enhance the UAE as a venue for World sporting events
My Move encourages its browsers to get involved in new activities whilst in Abu Dhabi. Several of the activities offer internationally recognised instruction as in the case of sailing, golf, swimming and many others.
An hour away in Dubai, the UAE boasts the largest indoor ski slope in the world and offers tuition from beginners to an advanced level.
Many high profile sporting events fill the UAE calendar each year – Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and Dubai Golf Desert Classic, Dubai Racing World Cup, Rugby 7’s series, and in November 2009 the inaugural Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Grand Prix will take place.
