Abu Dhabi eagerly awaits its own ski slope – Snow World is under construction at the Marina Mall. In the meantime, ski fanatics can visit Ski Dubai.
UAE’s first ski facility SKI DUBAI opened in mid 2006, and is home to 5 slopes ranging from gentle beginner runs to the world’s first indoor black run.
It also boasts nursery slopes for the little enthusiasts.
Throughout the year, ‘Snow school ‘offer lessons with suitably qualified Instructors on either an individual or group basis. As they are extremely popular, pre booking of these lessons is essential.
An international recognized ‘passport’ is issued on completion of each course. Kiddie’s snow school is run throughout holiday periods and provides the little ones with endless fun as well as a skill for life.
